
Brad Rhoads
A graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law, Brad Rhoads practiced as a full-time attorney for more than 20 years, and he has served as the lay pastor of marriage at his church since 2010. His wife, Marilyn, holds degrees in psychology and social work, and counseled at Counseling Associates before leaving the practice to be home with her children. Together, Brad and Marilyn are the co-founders of Grace Marriage, which is dedicated to assisting local churches to change marriage in our churches and the culture at large. The couple leads marriage retreats, authors marriage wellness materials, provides leadership training, and leads quarterly marriage groups. Brad and Marilyn have five children.

Chris Sekar
Chris practices as the Addiction Therapist at Gleneagles Medical Centre. He has more than 40 years of counseling experience ranging from substance and behavior addictions to family issues, he is also an Independent Service Provider in the addiction therapy field.
He has a Postgraduate Diploma in Counseling Psychology, a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling from De La Salle University, a Bachelor of Theology degree from Malaysia Bible Seminary, and is a Certified Addiction Therapist (CSAT) from the Asia Pacific Certification Board. Chris currently has a Master (Level 4) in Addiction Therapy and his own recovery from drug addiction of ten years enables him to understand the peculiarities of the addiction world. He has been drug free for 35 years.
Chris also lectures on Addiction Counseling/Intervention on a regular basis for the Master in Clinical Psychology Program in HELP University and for the Advanced Diploma in Counseling Psychology Program at the College of Allied Educators.
He is married to Rachel Ng and has two adult sons.

Low Kheng Onn
Onn and his wife Sharon have been in full time ministry for 35 years, of which 19 years were in the Philippines. In their final year as missionaries, they ministered to young adults in various business establishments in Mindanao. After returning to Malaysia, they continued their ministry among young adults in a university and other contexts. Onn is pioneering a training institute for the Christian Brethren and serves as a board member with Wycliffe Bible Translators. He has a MDiv (Biblical Studies) and is working on his Doctorate in Theology (Clinical Pastoral Psychotherapy). Onn and Sharon have 3 adult children born in 3 different countries and now working in 3 different countries.

Dr. Ben Freudenburg
Ben Freudenburg is married to Jennifer, father to Cori and Sara, grandfather to Caleb, Markey, Adelaide and Micah. He has served the church for 48 years in the Lutheran denomination and is currently retired from Concordia University, Ann Arbor. He served as President of Lutheran Education’s TEAM department and as President of Lutheran Education Association, a national professional organization for Lutheran educators. He has written for a variety of education, youth journals and magazines and authored the books The Traveling Guide…. A Vehicle for Youth Ministry, Through Children’s Eyes, (a book of 52 Children’s Messages) published by Concordia Publishing House and The Family Friendly Church by Group Publishing.
He was called to Concordia University, Ann Arbor in 2004 as Director of the Family Life Program and Professor in Family Studies. He is the founder of Family Friendly Partners Network where he created and launched the Family Friendly Partners Training Network. He has trained over 90 churches in family ministry through networks of churches in Michigan, Nebraska, Illinois, Ohio, Missouri, Indiana and Wisconsin. He also created, launched and taught FAM101 for pastors and church leaders in Indonesia and India with students attending from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, India and the Philippines.
He was the founder and Executive Director of the Concordia Center for the Family with an expanding ministry to Ethiopia Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus and Compassion International Asia which includes training for Thailand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the Philippines and Indonesia. In 2017 he was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Concordia University, Irvine.

Bishop Dr. T. Jeyakumar
Bishop Jeya is the Bishop of the Methodist Church of Malaysia with over twenty years of pastoral ministry. He read theology at Seminari Theoloji Malaysia and later pursued his doctorate at Malaysia Baptist Theological Seminary. Throughout the time, he has been passionate about family ministries and church growth. In December 2012 he was elected President of the Trinity Annual Conference of the Methodist Church in Malaysia until 2020 when he was elected to be the Bishop of the Methodist Church in Malaysia for 2021-2024 and was reelected for a second term from 2025-2028.
Bishop Jeya is married to Grace and they have two children, Ebenezer and Joanne. He is the author of two books (one of which is A Family Friendly Church) and is passionate about equipping churches, empowering pastors and edifying families.

Loh Ling Ming
Ling Ming is a missionary at large on the Family Ministries Malaysia team. She holds a MDiv (Pastoral Counseling) and MA (Evangelism) both from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield. She has written for in-country periodicals and addressed issues of Sex and Gender Identity, and Parenting for Sex Education. She has been in ministry for 35 years, and frequently conducted training for young people in the area of Sexuality and Gender Identity. Together with her husband Dr. Herbert Tan, they minister widely to youths, couples, and families. They have two young adults, a daughter and a son.

Rev. Moses & Cathy Tey
The Tey’s intensive biblical exploration of how God builds His church spans Genesis to Revelation. At the heart of this framework is the family of God – to cultivate a passionate love for Jesus, the gospel, developing authentic leaders, marriages, parenting, discipleship, and evaluating church programs. Moses’ team served in China (2.5 million live attendance), the USA, and parts of SE Asia. Moses and Cathy are completing a Ph.D. at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Church and Family. They have been married 30+ years with two adult sons who love the Lord. May God be glorified, and we share His joy.

Dr. Cheah Fung Fong
Fung Fong is the Vice President of the Trinity Annual Conference (TRAC), the Methodist Church in Singapore. She is the immediate past Executive Director of Filos Community Services where she served vulnerable children, seniors and families in the community. She is a certified Family Life Educator and conducts parenting workshops with a special interest in Sexuality Conversations with Children and Youth. Fung Fong also serves as the Associate General Secretary of the Evangelical Alliance of Singapore.
She serves as an Associate Lay Leader at, Fairfield Methodist Church (FFMC), Singapore. A firm believer in faith formation in families, she has been involved in Children’s Ministry at FFMC, TRAC and the D6 Singapore Family Ministry.
Fung Fong met her husband, Christopher, in medical school when they served together on a mission trip to the remote villages of the Iban tribe in Sarawak. They have 3 adult children and a 3-year old grandchild.

Dr. Herbert Tan
Herbert is the Founding Director of the D6 Family Ministry Conferences in Malaysia. He is presently National Director of Family Ministries Malaysia and holds a MDiv from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, Deerfield and a PhD from Northwestern University, Evanston in the field of Christian Education. He has worked with and discipled youths & families in USA, the Philippines, and Malaysia in the last 40+ years and currently chairs Family Ministries Malaysia, a network of Family Ministry leaders and organizations. He is married to Ling Ming and they have a young adult daughter fulfilling her call to teach, and a college young adult son pursuing God’s gifting in the field of Electronic & Electrical Engineering.
