Rev Moses & Cathy Tey
Moses Tey’s calling and passion is equipping church leaders through intensive biblical exploration of how God builds His church that spans from Genesis 1 to Revelations 22. The end result is a comprehensive framework of how God structures His church. The framework addresses many foundational challenges churches face today including developing authentic leaders, flourishing churched children as they become adults, handling the explosion of church programs, and fulfilling the great commission. Moses’ team serves in China (2.5 million live attendance), USA, and parts of SE Asia. Upon graduating with an Electrical Engineering degree, Moses pursued a MDiv at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and completed all coursework for a ThM at Asbury Theological seminary and a PhD in Communications at the University of Kentucky, and will begin his PhD at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in August of 2018. He has been married 26 years to Cathy and have two sons ages 19 and 23.
Cathy serves alongside her husband Moses at CRU. Her passions includes studying, teaching, and applying God’s Word for women and children. Her ministries at her local church have included: directing Children’s Worship, writing curriculum for and teaching women’s Bible study, speaking at events for women, assisting Moses in a care group, discipling and mentoring younger women. Along with her husband, Cathy homeschooled two sons over a 22 year period. After marriage, Cathy left her career as an attorney in the USA and pursued a MDiv and MA in Christian Education at Asbury Theological Seminary. Cathy plans to begin her seminary PhD in August of 2018 at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
